Subject:: u-Ziq "Goodbye, Goodbye" vocal sample?

greetings fellow IDM fans, forgive me if this is a silly question to ask of the list but I have been a fan of Royal Astronomy since the disc hit shelves and have never known the answer. does anyone know where the vocal sample from Goodbye, Goodbye is from? given Mikey's penchant for sampling I have always doubted that it was recorded just for the song (though possible) but many searches over the years have yielded not much information. on the other hand, several years ago I was in a shop that happened to play "Your Ghost" by Kristin Hersh over the speakers and I had an a-ha moment realizing it was the Phiesope sample....but Goodbye has always eluded me. best regards to anyone who might know some info on this! -Zheanna

Well how about that! All this time and I never thought to read further into that copyright notice on the back of the case to see that there are production credits in there. Discogs does not have her credited on Goodbye, only The Fear. Shame on me for relying on the glorified Wikipedia of music when the answer was right under my nose the whole time.
